Tonight at dinner

Tonight we were all sitting around the dinner table when all of a sudden Sam started pointing at everyone..."you naughty, you naughty, you naughty, you naughty, you naughty, you naughty" then pointing to himself, "I'm the boss."

How we laughed. Maybe a little too true since we all played a rousing game of duck duck goose before bed at his behest. What a boy.

Updates...

Well, Brett Bailey asked for an update so here it is...

1. Our credit is fixed. Hooray and hallelujah!!! The lawyer we hired called Chase on a few things they did that were slightly ILLEGAL and miraculously they cleaned up our credit report.

2. We are moving to Lumberton, TEXAS to partner with Craig Worsley. Cyrus is so excited to work with someone with values. We are fairly sure Craig doesn't threaten to spank his front desk help.

3. We finished the house and it is on the market. Unfortunately, last month there were over 1000 houses for sale in the county and only 30 sold. We had a family fast today and we are keeping the faith that it will sell.

So that is that. We will head to Texas on July 24 and leave the house for sale. We will probably be apartment dwellers for a while but that's ok. We'll live.

Also, today our washing machine smoked. Tomorrow I am going to the Laundromat.

Oh and Sam cried for his entire swim lesson and Grace spent the entire time trying to jump in.

Sand Castles

This weekend was the sand castle festival in Cannon Beach. We had a blast. The only difficulty was the 4 mile walk up and down the beach to look at the sand castles. But in the end, everyone was able to relax and play.

More Sand ...

Cute bunch of folks!

FHE

Tonight for FHE we went to the beach and played. It was so fun to watch the kids explore the sand and play in the FREEZING water. I think ORegon has the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. And they are clean and they don't stink like the California beaches did. Boy this place is a hidden little piece of heaven.

"What good is a gun if you don't use it to shoot your friend in the leg when he's going to buy an old house?"--Monk

Cyrus and I laughed and laughed. Good line. Only someone who has bought an old house can truly appreciate that line. Give him a few months and he'll love the house so much, he'll never want to leave :).
