For family home evening when my parents were here, we thought we would go to Pt Reyes and watch the sun set. Unfortunately, it was so foggy that we could barely see the ocean. It was fun though. We saw two big elk in the fog and the whole area looked just amazing in shadow. The next day it was clear so my parents and I ventured out there again. We had so much fun!!
We saw four whales!!! This is the best picture I got though.
Sam spotted a deer. There was actually a whole herd of them!!
It was so windy and cold it felt like we were going to get our heads blown off!!
We went to the beach and my mom had some trouble walking in the sand. We had a good laugh!!! It is a good thing she has a good sense of humor!!!
Sam loved the beach and screamed when it was time to leave. Katie was such a trooper--she didn't feel the best but she always wanted to go with Grandma and Grandpa--and she managed to have tons of fun!!! Oh and how do you like Sam's girly coat--all of his jackets were dirty...heehee!
