My girls are the sweetest sisters in the world!!! They were so excited that it was Sam's birthday...they wrapped up all the presents and squealed with delight at the thought of him opening them. It was so cute to see so many little hands, wanting to just rip open those presents but instead just patiently letting their pokey little brother do it....it reminded me of Alyse yelling, "Open it HARD Katie" when Katie was struggling with a birthday present.
When we gave Sam his cake and he tried to blow out the candles, it was so fun to see three little girl cheeks full of air but not blowing!!!
Once Sam got the candles (or "hots" as he called them) blown out he stuck his fingers in and sampled some icing. YUMMY!!!
At the end of the day, Kate cried and said, "I don't get to have a birthday this week." What a sweety.

Happy birthday Sam! I love how sweet his big sisters were to him. I can't believe he's only 2! With all of his amazing talents of cracking eggs on your floor and putting food in his hair, I would have thought he would be past the "terrible" twos. Here's to a wonderful year of TERRIFIC twos.
